Are you tired of your plaster but you don't know how to smooth it out and make it a flat surface? Here is a simple and quick process proposed by Toupret to cover your plaster and then paint the wall or line it with wallpaper. Here are the utensils and products that you must have beforehand: - A bucket of filling plaster. - A float or blade from 20 to 30 cm. - Medium grain sandpaper. Take the trowel and evenly coat the wall with the filling product. Do not hesitate on the quantity. When there is enough on the wall to create a flat surface, spread the product so that the surface is smooth. When the plaster begins to harden, remove any irregularities from the wall with the blade. This will avoid spending too much time sanding. If necessary, when the first coat is completely dry, apply a second coat. Then wait 24 to 48 hours for the surface to be completely dry. Sand with sandpaper to smooth the surface well. You can then paint or cover with the coating of your choice!
