The scattering of light is a problem on which many of us are working. The Danes and especially the designers - like Louis Poulsen in the 20th century - have made it a specialty. Minimalist, extra, subdued lighting ... the ways to use it and especially to control it sometimes appear like a real headache. Entrance, bedroom, kitchen or living room, here are some secondary lighting tracks to adopt according to your needs and desires.

Secondary lighting in the entrance

The entrance is a passage room. It is therefore not essential to install secondary lighting. But if you look closely, when you are lucky to have a few well-thought-out square meters, they can prove to be very useful in two specific cases: * you have installed a small bench so that children can put their shoes on easily before leaving the House. With a wall light attached just above, they can make their laces in the blink of an eye. Another idea if you have bet on a piece of furniture specially designed for this purpose: put a lamp directly on the upper part. The latter can also stay on to gently welcome those who come home late. * you could slide a wardrobe or you simply have cupboards integrated in the room. A small internal lamp to turn on when looking for this scarf that would go perfectly with your outfit of the day becomes an ally of choice.

Secondary lighting in the living room

If there is a room in which you do not like having the main light on when you want to relax, it is the living room! In the latter, the composition is composed with several secondary points. The easiest is obviously the accumulation of classic candles (real or leds) in different sizes. On a side table, in front of or on the fireplace or on the sideboard, we appreciate the soft and flickering light which escapes from it. Very trendy, the articulated bracket or wall lamp is installed so as to illuminate the place of the reader on the sofa when it needs it. All that remains is to have a socket nearby and voila.

Auxiliary lighting in the kitchen

Once again very popular in the kitchen, tall glass furniture is even more beautiful (and practical!) When it is fitted with integrated LED lighting. You did not choose this option during your purchase? Note that the adhesive spots do the trick perfectly. Finally, if you have chosen not to put tall furniture (for aesthetics or because your kitchen is under the roof) and you lack light at the worktop, opt for a light backsplash. Smart, right?

Secondary lighting in the dining room

The dining room does not escape the secondary lighting either to create cozy and relaxing atmospheres when receiving guests. If you don't have a ceiling light, set your sights on an arched floor lamp which will gracefully illuminate the table. Otherwise, you can also place on the sideboard or the dresser, a bulb-like auxiliary lamp on base that will give life to a beautifully decorated little corner.

Creating a subdued atmosphere in the bedroom is child's play! A light garland fixed at the head of the bed, slipped into a large glass jar or suspended vertically along the window, is within everyone's reach.
